The University of Miami has a rich basketball history and has produced many talented players over the years. From NBA All-Stars to college legends, here are some of the best University of Miami basketball players of all time:

  1. Rick Barry – Barry is one of the greatest players in Miami history and a legend in the sport. He played for Miami from 1962 to 1965 and led the team to the NCAA Tournament in 1963. He was a two-time All-American and led the nation in scoring in 1965. After his college career, he went on to have a successful NBA career and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1987.
  2. Tim James – James played for Miami from 1995 to 1999 and was a standout player for the Hurricanes. He led the team to the Sweet Sixteen in 1999 and was named a consensus All-American that year. He finished his career with 2,061 points and 1,042 rebounds, and was drafted 25th overall by the Miami Heat in 1999.
  3. Shane Larkin – Larkin played for Miami from 2011 to 2013 and was one of the most exciting players in college basketball during his time there.
